Outpatient psychotherapy with individuals or couples—My standard rate is $130 an hour.

I do take a lot of major insurances. However, because healthcare is not yet a universal system and there are many insurance companies (each with its own requirements and peccadillos which vary depending on your policy) I can't always tell you if they'll pay for therapy services with me.

The best way to find out is to ask them . . . . Most companies will answer the person who pays them (you) more readily than the person they pay (me.) So give them a call and ask:

1)what behavioral health benefits your plan includes (how many sessions, whether you need a referral from your primary care doctor, etc.)

2)what your deductible and copays are

3)if they allow you to receive services from an out of network provider. (This is mostly for HMO's. I am paneled with some and not with others and sometimes this matters and sometimes it doesn't. When in doubt, you can tell them who I am and what my credentials are (LMSW) and ask specifically if they'll pay for you to see me.

lectures/trainings/presentations—My rate for these is also $130/hour. Some subjects that I have presented include: dreams, ritual, mindfulness, assertiveness and working effectively with emotions. I am happy to tailor a presentation to your needs on any area in which I have expertise.

Consultation to identify patterns of story in your work, your relationships, or other particular areas of your life; and then to recommend changes you can make to engage the power of those stories more fully, or to embody more desirable stories.

Coaching to talk through the process of change in storied terms. This is an opportunity to discover stories which empower and support you, to examine the extent to which you are (or are not) living them, and to have personal guidance about how to bring them more fully into your life

Therapy to provide a container in which we can work at a deeper level with old wounds and current crises, engaging the power of stories in conjunction with other therapeutic tools to bring healing and growth (note: I am licensed to provide therapy only in the states of Michigan and Massachusetts)

Ritual to offer a transformative, embodied enactment which brings storied wisdom more fully into your body, your life, and your community. I am available to facilitate, lead, create and consult on all forms of ritual

Dreamwork to examine the stories which your own psyche tells during sleep, and how they may relate to the larger body of the world's mythic wisdom

Astrology to cast and interpret your natal chart, solar returns and transits

Public Speaking on topics related to ritual, religion, mythology, psychology, sexuality, dreams, astrology and other story related topics

My fee for all services is $150/hour (if your insurance pays for out-of-network therapy providers, I can provide receipts that include diagnosis and treatment codes to submit to your insurance for reimbursement)
